or Boxing Day, if you prefer.
We had snow for Christmas 😎 That's very unusual for Ireland. It snowed all day starting on X-mas eve. For a while it felt like back home in Canada.
It was coming down in big flakes and the wind was blowing it around like a little blizzard. There was a bit of worry, no one here knows how to drive in snow and ice. All people were talking about was "How are the roads?" I drove a few times during the day and had no problems at all. The only bad bits were up in the hills and I managed to get home before the melt water froze. Mom said the roads were very treacherous this morning.
Got some nice stuff, as well as the usual deoderant / shower gel sets I always get 🙄 <rant> It not just the implied message (you hygiene is suspect) but the lack of imagination </rant>
Anyway, Chris got me a 1GB :eyes: USB memory stick. It's not flash, there's actually a tiny IBM microdrive (HDD) inside. Seriously 😎 😎 😎
Some nice shirts from Mom.
And some other small bits and pieces.
Oh yeah, Chris brought my regular fix of Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup. 😀
Hope you all had a merry one. :spock:
