I asked for this

No really, I did. 😀

So I was tagged by Louis, Elke, and Marcus.

Let's see, page 123, paragraph 5. 1… 2… 3… Uh oh, there's only two full paragraph on the page. What to do

💡 Well, let's just keep counting on the next page. 4… 5. Here we go.

"Obviously this is some trick of yours," Klaus said.

A Series of Unfortunate Events
Book the Thirteenth
The End

by Lemony Snicket

Thanks lads, this has been sitting half finished on my bedside locker for months. I went through a stretch there where I just wasn't into reading novels, but this gave me the boot up the hole to finish it and move on to my next book.

I'm not going to explicitly tag anyone, I'd say most of you have been hit already. But if you do want me to tag you…

YOU'RE IT! :p

  1. Thanks for show us your readings, Mickey.… and have fun with this and your next books. And for your new blog look::up: I like the background with the clover. It looks very good. The header-photo is nice too ( even if for me it's a bit too big). But these are just my thoughts.

  2. Thanks ladies, I'm glad you like it.It took me long enough to figure out how to do this little bit of modding. 🙄 Particulary getting the header to work so if you think I'm going to change it :bomb: :lol:But seriously, when you say too big, do you mean physically (dimensions) or the file size (downlaod time). I did crop it a good bit from the originalBTW, a belated thank you Elke, I studied your style sheet to figure some things out.

  3. Hey Mickey,:sst: what I mean, when I say to big, is just the high of the banner. But, I know, it seems, this is a new trend. I can find a lot of such big banners. Don't change the photo. It is very nice.BTW: I have to be fair, because I just modified a style sheet of Fred Andersson. http://my.opera.com/fred/about/He is very good. I think, I could learn a lot from him and his work.

  4. Thanks Elke, I don't really want to crop it any more, I think I would lose too much of the background. I would imagine that a lot of people are using other blogs to learn how to customise their own. If I had one criticism of My Opera it's that customizing requires a a strong understanding of CSS, which I don't think most people possess.I also used Serbianfighter's tutorial, but that too assumes a knowledge of CSS that I didn't have.

  5. Oh, you are very right, Mickey.Without the instruction of Serbianfighter I would be helpless with that blog CSS.The only way to get more practice is to exercise and exercise.Good luck for your work! :)Ah, I can see, you have changed the colour of the sidebar headlines. :up:BTW:If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll try to help, if I can.

  6. That's very kind Elke, I may call on you in the future. But I think I'll leave things as they are for now.
