  1. :lol:Hey… He won a cat, his sis has a swan, and all these Saskatchewan and scratch-and-win!! :lol:And he didn't have to rhyme Virginia! :p

  2. Yup. :up:It takes time for these things to sink in, y'know?? :pAnyway, catch u later… Gotta get ready for work!!

  3. I can't get the song to work for me. :(It says it has an mp3 extension that doesn't match up???

  4. Yeah… It's AAC… iTunes should play it. Or Quicktime. I was loaded automatically with Quicktime cos I am on a Mac. :up:And Mickey, why u no likey work?? I love work!!Work = Tipsy = Money = Good time:love:

  5. I'll see if I can get it to go on Quicktime. Things seem to just automatically go to the Windows Music Player. I have to fix that!

  6. What sort of public relations jobs let you party all the time, sugarwinx? I am happy you like your work.

  7. That's the problem with media player software. If you install one it assumes you want to use it for playing everything. Even if it can't actually play the file. You'll probably have to download the file onto your computer Elly, and then open the file within Quicktime. I found that in QuickTime's file open dialog I had to change the file type to Audio so I could see the file.

  8. Momable – I am a PR Ambassadress for an alcoholic company. Try using Quicktime. It was not a problem with me. :)Mickey – Quicktime shoudn't be a problem. I got it the moment I clicked on yr file link.

  9. It's a bit trickier when you're on windows sugar. But it will work. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 😦 Apologies to anyone who has had trouble playing the song. Keep trying though, it's worth it.

  10. I'll try Quicktime. So, are all of you on Macs? Or do you call them Apples? If you have been on both, can you tell me why you prefer one over the other == with the exception being if the only reason you choose Apple/Mac is because you feel the Windows people are too rich.

  11. Okay, I saved it to my download folder. After I go off line, then I will attempt the opening.Oh, I feel like a mad scientist!!

  12. Suga, what a job you have! Do you have to keep count of how many people drink your companies' booze or do you just have to suggest that they try it? Plus, you get to dance! I am happy you enjoy it!Hope the company pays for your cab fare home!!!!

  13. Hey, finally got to hear that song. Te-hee!Canada has a fine bunch of town names! Is it really Saskatchewaean?I am going to find a map of Canada, aye!

  14. Yay :hat: glad you liked it. As far as I know I am a Saskatchewanean, not the most elegant of names. :rolleyes:I don't know if you got it, but he's singing.

:sing: Oh Lord, it's hard to be Humboldt.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ As for computers, way back in the day I used a Mac, but then I got into Windows and kept on with that. I still do a little with Macs, but I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable. ( :left: :right: If you ask me Apple users are the rich ones. At least the computers seem much dearer compared to a similar spec Windows machine.)

  15. I never have used a Mac. Seems all the schools and businesses around here have Windows. I used Word Perfect, but had to learn to use Word. Then, Word came with my compy and we got Word with Microsoft's Student and Teacher program. The ones I hear that use Mac at college are the graphic designer students. Mac only comes with Apple computers, right? Saskatchewanean –now that is a mouthful! :lol:What is a Humbolt? I thought he had a speech mistake when he said that. πŸ˜† He was funny. πŸ™‚

  16. Yeah, for some reason Apple computers are very popular with graphics design and publishing. Apple/Mac are basically the same thing. One of Apple's first really big computers was called the Macintosh, or Mac for short. Then there was the Mac II and the Mac Classic. And Apple laptops are called Macbooks. It's confusing because Apple builds computers and they also make the operating system that their computers run. It's called OS-X. Windows only does the operating system – Vista or XP.If you click on the Humboldt link you'll find out.

  17. Oh, te-hee.Hey, what was it called before Humboldt; since all those famous people came from it??? How did they manage that????

  18. That is some name!Yes, so you saw on the Wiki page the list of famous people. The city has been incorporated since 2000. How interesting. :smile:I never heard of 'em, also.

  19. I have nothing against Apple as such, but everything is just different enough to make swapping back and forth really annoying.

  20. Well, I don't use PC anymore, so that's not a problem. And for work, I don't need the computer.

  21. Sure, you like Apple so you use Apple. I like Windows so I use Windows. Other people like Linux so they use Linux. Whatever.

  22. Well, someone said to me that Mac computers boot up faster and have more built-in suites relative to photos and drawing and artsy stuff like that; those are adequate reasons.Everyone around here uses Windows, it comes on the computers when you buy.I am comfy with Windows, I like how the updates come when you set it on automatic, I have been a "Windowee" since it first came out. My first compy had a menu someone wrote for me that was very similar to a way primitve Windows. It was an IBM and when I put real Windows on it that blew me away!To each their own, as my Gram would say!
