The power went again, but it does seem to have died down a good bit. On the weather they said there were record gusts of 174kph and 10m waves off the Atlantic coast :yikes:

pretty much the same over here but without the snow, just massive amounts of hail.Glad to hear you got through in one piece 🙂
Made it so far. Some branches came down, wind caught the garden furniture and blew it around a bit, but nothing major. The wind has died down a good deal, it snowed in the night. Now we're having showers of sleet and hail. :yuck:

On the plus side: The winds stopped several days ago, though since it has been quite cold and wet. It's been frosty at night, which means the roads are slippery in the morning. :)On the minus: I picked up a bad dose during the week. I've been off school and the doctor put me on antibiotics. It's left we basically wiped out. :zzz: The forecast says the rain and cold will continue and the winds will be coming back. 😦
