Its Beginning to Look a Bit Like Christmas

Everywhere it seems is talking about snow. The news today was full of the storms in America and Europe.

Well, we may not be in the same league but Ireland is getting a share of the winter weather too.

We had a skiff of snow in the night and it was cold enough that it didn't completely melt during the day.

The weather man is saying it's too early to know if we'll have a white Christmas but fingers crossed. 😉

  1. Rare enough, we've had winters without a flake. Usually it's just cold and rain. Though you might get freezing rain, sleet or hail. And a white Christmas would be a real event. We don't usually get snow 'til January/February. And then it melts within a day or two. You can check out my album and see some of the snowfalls we've had

When I lived in Texas, it was a lot like this in the winter. Years might go by without a snow, so even a light snow people would meet with ill-prepared people.

  3. well..there´s some..*Dear God, bring in the white powder for Ireland, err snow that is!* …*Amen*

  4. nice!interesting that you still have green on the ground and trees, in NYC all is brown and bare!

  5. Yeah, it's always green. Never have gotten used to that. No more snow today but it's perishing outside and the roads are like ice rinks.

  6. Luckily we have no need to travel for the next few days. Hopefully things will improve for Xmas so we can do our visiting.

  7. "Everywhere it seems is talking about snow. The news today was full of the storms in America and Europe."Oh! I feel so left out here where we have no snow, but hot and humid weather. Boo Hoo Hoo… 😥

  8. Life is so hard hungry :awww: Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have lots of snow when you get back to Vancouver.

  9. Are you gone for that long? You know we've had snow in March so maybe you'll get lucky and catch a late blizzard.

  10. BITE YOUR TONGUE!I get back January. Yesh. I'm sure it'll be lovely spring by then. Yesh.

  11. But why would you need one? It's not cold where you are. I have to deal with snow and ice and frost.
